AMD R&D @ ESC – Where Global Technology and the Vietnamese Workforce Converge
Introduction
In the context of Vietnam’s intensified push to advance its semiconductor and artificial intelligence development strategy, the SUN TechX R&D Center at ESC – Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park was established as a significant milestone. The project, jointly invested by AMD and SunEdu (a member of SUN TechX), aims to build a strategic core for microelectronics, AI, and high-performance computing in Vietnam.
At the center, AMD’s international-standard R&D capabilities combine with SunEdu’s semiconductor & AI workforce training program to form a closed-loop “research – training – application” ecosystem, helping to shorten the gap from idea to product and elevate Vietnam’s technological standing under the SUN TechX brand.
